Dr. Rich Paula was responsible for physician integration and adoption of an $85 million enterprise EMR project at Tampa General which is now electronic in all phases of patient care, with over 1,500 physicians are actively using the system. Tampa General was just awarded HIMSS Level 6 certification, joining only 5% of hospitals nationwide in IT infrastructure penetration and use.
Shelby Weir has 18 years’ experience in IT Consulting and Business Process Consulting, with a concentrated focus in Healthcare providing support to Payers and Providers in the areas of Program/Project Management, EMR implementations,ICD-10 conversions, HIM Shared Services, and other IT and operational projects to support the new federally regulated mandates. Extensive experience and proven track record working with Executive Leadership teams to develop customized project solutions to include all areas of business operations: Clinical, Finance and Accounting, HIM, Operations and Sales and Marketing. Currently the Vice President of Sales for the HCI Group, directly responsible to provide sales leadership and assist with building customized project solutions, acting as the top point of accountability and issue resolution for Healthcare Clients. She is a founding Board Member and current Secretary of the Florida Chapter of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, Active member of HIMSS and the Tampa Bay Technology Forum with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Florida.
