The HCI Group, led by Ricky Caplin, was recognized as a finalist for the second year in a row in the health care category, representing North Florida.
Founded and produced by Ernst & Young LLP, the Entrepreneur of the Year Awards are one of the more prestigious business awards, recognizing high-growth entrepreneurs for their vision, leadership and achievement. Florida finalists from across the state have been identified in a number of areas, including innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
“These finalists were selected from more than 70 nominations by a panel of independent judges,” Greg Rosica of the Entrepreneur of the Year Florida program said in a statement. “We are very proud to recognize such a successful group of entrepreneurs.”
State winners in several categories will be announced June 11 at the Omni Orlando Resort and go on to the national awards gala in Palm Springs, Calif .
