William Bria, MD, is chief medical information officer at the The HCI Group, a healthcare IT consulting firm headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla. He is co-founder and board chairman of the Association of Medical Directors of Information System, AMDIS. He served as president of the Medical Information Systems Physicians Association. In 2010, he was presented with the Physician IT Leadership Award from HIMSS. From 2006 to 2012, he was the chief medical information officer at Shriners Hospital for Children.
