JACKSONVILLE, FL – January 19, 2018 – The HCI Group announces Rochester Regional Health’s achievement of reaching HIMSS Analytics EMRAM Stage 7 status.
With the support of their EMRAM leadership team, The HCI Group is proud to announce Rochester Regional Health’s achievement of the HIMSS Analytics EMRAM Stage 7 Award at 4 facilities, including Newark Wayne Community Hospital, Rochester General Hospital, Unity Hospital and Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic.Rochester Regional Health recently engaged The HCI Group to expedite their journey to achieve HIMSS Stage 7 status. With fewer than 6.1% of US acute care facilities having earned the HIMSS Analytics EMRAM Stage 7 Award as of Q3 2017, Rochester Regional Health’s achievement shows their dedication to making technology a focal point for improving care.
John Glynn, CIO of Rochester Regional Health, underlines the importance of this achievement: “We are excited to further solidify our standing as a leader in the adoption of technology to improve the delivery of care. This is truly a differentiator for us – it creates a distinct competitive advantage for our organization moving forward.”
HCI’s EMRAM Leadership Team performed a gap analysis to establish a baseline view of Rochester Regional Health’s current alignment to Stage 7 criteria. Upon comparison of their current state, HCI provided actionable recommendations. “HCI’s EMRAM leadership team was a tremendous help in supporting our preparation,” said Glynn. “Their expertise helped us identify opportunities to improve our alignment to Stage 7. They provided exceptional feedback and actionable steps for achieving our goal.”
Ricky Caplin, CEO of The HCI Group, affirms the significance of Rochester Regional’s success: “John and his team should be extremely proud of this award. It puts them in an elite category and sets them apart as a leader in healthcare IT.” Having previously been recognized at Stage 6, Rochester Regional’s Stage 7 award quantifies their recent progress and recognizes their position as a leader in the adoption of EMR technology to support care delivery.
